Zom 100 refers to the cluster of zombies and Bucket List of the Dead refers to the main characters’ do list before becoming a zombie.
The anime Zome 100: Bucket List of the Dead revolves around a 24-year-old lad named Akira Tendo. Akira’s dream is to be independent and work in a prestigious company. He got a job in ZLM company and started his first day of job with overtime. He thinks it normal to work overtime on one’s ist day however things started getting difficult for him as he has to do overtime every day. He was fed up with his job and wanted to run away from the company but couldn’t do so due to his bond for a certain time with the company.
One day Akira was going towards the office as usual and he faced a huge outbreak of zombies coming towards him. Akira managed to save himself and went to the Terrace of a building. Akira was immensely happy with the zombie outbreak as it would make him free from his office life. Tendo thinks saving Ohtori, the only person who is generous towards Akira Tendo also Akira has some feelings for her.
It is hard for a person to live a normal human life and Akira decides to make a Bucket list before converting into a zombie. He decided to go to an aquarium in Ibarakai to get a shark suit from there. A shark suit would help from getting Bitten by Zombies. He goes there along with his best friend Kencho. Kencho does not play a big role in Zom 100. Once he made it to the aquarium, he met a lot of people there as the aquarium was now turned into an evacuation Center. Tendo also meets his boss there, named Chief Kosuji. Akira was shocked to see him there as he had no option now but to accept his orders and get back to work.
