Sweet Home 2: The long-awaited season of Sweet Home will be released on 01. December, 2023. Netflix on its website announced the debut date by releasing its trailer.
The first season of the series was released on December 18, 2020, consisting of 10 episodes. It received 7.3 IMDb rating out of 10. Furthermore, it received a whopping 2.1 billion net views making it one of the most popular Netflix K-Drama Series to date. After gaining so much popularity, Netflix announced the production of the second and third seasons.
Sweet Home Season 2 Storyline
The first season revolved around 19-year-old CHA HYUN-SOO (Song Kang), a loner who loses his parents to a car accident and has to leave his home and face the cruel challenge to fight off monsters who are on a mission to wipe out the entire human existence.
Before losing his family, Cha Hyun had to face a lot of difficulties like he was bullied during his school days and it threw him into depression. But he learns to navigate through these dark times by his desire to live. The first season features the Green Home Residents fighting against their neighbors who have become monsters.
Second, we will get to see a dramatic shift as the survivors who leave Green’s home get to witness new challenges. Also, it will show how the survivors face the monsters amidst their internal conflicts staying humans while fighting monsters.
